Synopsis

Amidst the NATO bombing campaign during the 1999 war in Kosovo, a hidden tragedy
unfolds within the walls of Dubrava prison. Hundreds of inmates are brought in under
the guise of a mass execution. Isolated from the world and trapped by their Serbian
captors, these individuals feel hopeless, believing that no one will hear their plight amid
the media blackout. They find themselves caught in the crossfire, facing bullets from
Serbian guards and snipers, and tragically, they also face the flames of bombs from the
very forces they once saw as liberators. Dubrava stands as one of the most horrific
symbols of the crimes committed during the last Balkan wars.
