Synopsis

A €20 banknote circulates through the city of Pristina over a single day, passing from
one hand to another. The true protagonist of this story is the money itself—the €20 bill.
Through its journey, we are introduced to a diverse cast of characters, each offering a
glimpse into their world. The story begins at an ATM, where two working-class
individuals withdraw the money and spend it at a local bakery. From there, the bill
moves to the baker, then to a composer. The composer is later robbed, and the money
falls into the hands of a gangster. It continues its unpredictable path, reaching a wealthy
woman and beyond. As the €20 note changes owners, we witness the stark contrast in
how people from different social classes perceive its value. Despite the disparities
between these characters, each interaction with the banknote occurs by chance,
illustrating how money can either divide or unite us.
