Synopsis:

Hunting Bears is a crime drama with dark comedy elements which is set in present-day Prishtina, the capital of Kosova. Hunting Bears deals with the corruption in a postwar society and shows the ease with which people of different social backgrounds adapt to corruption and accept it as a norm. Two of the main characters in the film are GANI - a veteran police officer who shortly before his pension gets demoted by his superiors, and AFRIM - a simple minded police officer who replaces Gani, who obediently protects the interests of his superiors no matter the consequences and carries out any of their orders blindly. Things head the wrong direction when Gani arrests a group of loan sharks, with whom his son is in debt, but who are under the direct protection of high ranking politicians.
