Since 2014 Kosovo is eligible to propose for nominations for foreign language film. While the short film SHOK is Kosovo's first time nomination for Oscar.

2014: 'Three Window and a Hanging' directed by Isa Qosja

2015: 'Father' directed by Visar Morina

2016: 'Home Sweet Home' directed by Faton Bajraktari

2017: 'Unwanted' directed by Edon Rizvanolli
