After a multi-year process full of challenges, the new cinematography law was finally voted today. We thank the filmmaking community for all their contributions and wish them continued success.

With 75 votes in favor, none against and no abstentions, the Assembly of Kosovo has approved the Law on Cinematography.
The Minister of Culture, Hajrullah Çeku, said that the draft law will strengthen the film in Kosovo and pave the way for foreign investments.

The draft law on cinematography in the first reading was approved in the Assembly in February of this year.
