In the 20th edition of the Tirana International Film Festival held during September 24 -30, 2022, the Kosovar animated short-length film “Shpija”, directed by Flaka Kokolli was awarded “The best short movie in Albanian language” prize.
“I feel grateful for the award received as the best short movie in Albanian language at TIFF”, states the film director Kokolli.
“Shpija” speaks about physical or imaginary isolation, as well as about the difficulties of detaching from old objects and behaviors.
The film project is supported financially by the Kosovo Cinematography Center in 2020 through project subsidy.
