Samir Karahoda's "In Between" wins the best short in Lithuania

Samir Karahoda's "In Between" won the best short film award at the Lithuanian International Film Festival in Vilnius. "This movie is like a tale, it captured us with its lightening, its elaborate storytelling style and the powerful cinematic attraction" expressed the jury consisting of Caroline Mallevile - filmmaker in French cinematheque, Rimante Daugelaite - director of the Lithuanian Short Film Festival and Spanish director Xacio Bano.  Unable to attend the ceremony in Riga, Samir Karahoda adressed the festival audience via  video thankingthe festival and the jusry for the award. He expressed his regret for not being able to be present particulary as this prize is of special importance for him as it is his debut film. Director Karahoda concluded his presentation in Lithuania by sending greeting from Kosovo.  Karahoda's film "In Between" with producer Eroll Biliban, after its world premiere at the prestigious Berlinale Festival in Germany and the regional premiere in Zagreb's Dox of Croatia, also appeared at the Tampere Film Festival's in Finland, DocuDays in Kiev, Ukraine, and is appearing at GoShort in Nijmegen, Netherlands. This is the first prize for Samir Karahoda's film. The film "In between" is an authentic Kosovo production realized with the support of Kosovo Cinema Center, Business Bank, Prizren and Prishtine Municipality.
