Synopsis:
On the 20th anniversary of the Dubrava Prison Massacre, Break the Silence will unveil the terrible events which occurred in Kosovo in May 1999 where over 150 prisoners were murdered.
Breaking the Silence will challenge the inaction of Kosovo law authorities as well as the Serbian and International authorities, to uncover the truth of what really happened in Dubrava Prison.
Big questions still remain to answer: Why were the perpetrators of this war crime allowed to roam freely around Europe? Why didn’t the authorities build prosecution cases? And why didn’t the EU, the USA and NATO apply more pressure in order that those responsible for the massacre could be brought to justice.
