Blerta Zeqiri's film “The Marriage” part of Sydney Film Festival

The 65th Sydney Film Festival (6-17 July), in partnership with European Film Promotion and Screen
International announced Europe! Voices of Women in Film: a program of 10 new films from
vital European women filmmakers, one of which will be Kosovar director Blerta Zeqiri with her film "The Marriage."

The Festival will also be enriched by eight women filmmaker guests from across the Continent, who
will introduce their films and take part in a public talk examining the film industry’s gender gap: In
Conversation with European Women Filmmakers (Sunday, 10 June, 1:30pm) at the Festival Hub.

Alongside Zeqiri's film there will also be present Emily Atef with “3 DAYS IN QUIBÉRON” from Gjermany, Isabella Eklöf with “HOLIDAY” from Denmark, Nanouk Leopold with “COBAIN” from Netherlands, Fanni Metelius with “THE HEART” from Sweden, Katharina Mückstein with “L`ANIMALE” from Austria, Sinéad O`Shea with “A MOTHER BRINGS HER SON TO BE SHOT” from Ireland, Virpi Suutari with “ENTREPRENEUR” from Finland, Jagoda Szelc with “TOWER. A BRIGHT DAY” from Polonia and Ana Urushadze with “SCARY MOTHER” from Gjeorgjia.
