Kosovo during 2017 was present at five ‘A’ category festivals

During these years, the supported films by KCC, have had a lot of achievements in international film festivals and were also premiered in many ‘A’ category festivals.

Only within this year, kosovan films have been premiered in five 'A' category festivals, which marks the greatest success so far.

Starting with the film 'Unwanted' by Edon Rizvanolli, which had the premiere in Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and in the International Film Festival in India Goa, then the film 'Rooftop Story' by Gazmend Nela which premiered at the Montreal World Film Festival, the short film 'A Month' by Zgjim Terziqi, premiered at Cairo International Film Festival and the feature film, 'The Marriage' by Blerta Zeqiri which premiered at Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, also an 'A' category festival where they won two awards, ‘Fipresci Award’ and ‘Special Jury Prize for Ensemble Acting’.

These films, after their premiere were also shown at other international festivals, without leaving aside the films released on 2016, which continued to screen at various festivals, films such as: ‘Home Sweet Home' by Faton Bajraktari,'Echo' by Dren Zherka,'Home' by More Raça and so on.
