PUBLIC CALL - RADIO TELEVISION OF KOSOVA

Radio Television of Kosovo has opened the public call to purchase television broadcast rights for long and short films from independent local productions. In support of article 12, paragraph 4, of Law no. 04/L-046 on Radio and Television of Kosovo, articles 2 and 3 of the Regulation on procedures and criteria in selecting the audiovisual content of independent producers.

The Kosovar Film Marathon project aims to meet the requirements of the audience on the festive nights of the 2024 New Year Festive Program at RTK, where local productions or co-productions with foreign ones are invited to apply with one or more feature-length and feature-length films. short (movie packages can also be submitted).

The total expected value for purchasing the selected films is 20,000.00 (twenty thousand) euros.

Films must meet the following criteria:

- Quality of script, content, project or recorded program;

- Public interest related to the content of the program;

- Originality of ideas;

- Price, method, and terms of payment;

- The extent of the rights that are granted;

- Reference of actors, directors, cameramen, screenwriters;

- Reference of the independent producer (regular fulfillment of contractual obligations, etc.)

Regarding the copyright, RTK has clarified that for the winning independent production, it will own all the rights for the telecast of the films on its broadcast television channels, the premiere broadcast, and rebroadcasts according to the agreement.

- Business certificate and fiscal number;

- Written declaration, through which the local independent producer undertakes the obligations regarding the copyright and other rights related to the film, for the telecast of the work.

- A written statement through which the local independent producer certifies that there is no civil litigation with RTK;
