We are pleased to announce the open application for the scholarship at the School of Film and Television of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague – FAMU. This is the tenth year in a row that brings this cooperation of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo, and FAMU, through which the citizens of Kosovo are provided with education in the field of Cinematography.

FAMU was established by presidential decree in 1945 and offers accredited and certified study programs in both Czech and English. FAMU and FAMU International offer several two-year and three-year Master (MFA) programs in filmmaking and audio-visual studies as well as a one-year practical filmmaking program called the Academy Preparation Program (APP).

The conditions for enrollment at the FAMU film school are determined by the film and television school of the Prague-based Academy of Fine Arts, who are also responsible for interviewing and selecting the students.

All citizens of the Republic of Kosovo with permanent residence in Kosovo have the right to apply.
