The film “A cup of coffee and new shows on” directed by Gentian Koçi, which is a co-production of Albania, Kosovo, Portugal, and Greece will be Albania’s official candidacy in the 25th edition of OSCARS.
This film which will represent Albania at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), is produced by Gentian Koçi, Blerina Hankollari and co-produced by Kosovar producer, Liridon Cahani.
Apart from OSCARS candidacy, the film will have its world premiere at the 26th edition of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, by being part of the official competition for the “Best future film” award.
“A cup of coffee and new shows on” is financially supported by the National Cinematography Center, Albanian Public Radio-Television, Greek Film Center, Greek Public Television, Kosovo Cinematography Center, Portugal Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual, Euroimages, Media-Creative Europe and Municipality of Tirana
