Kosovar producer and actor Besnik Krapi was invited to become member of European Film Academy. His contribution to cinematography as producer and actor is well-known in the region and beyond. The European Film Academy was founded in 1989 with the first director Ingmar Bergman along with other founding members such as Pedro Almodovar, Lindsay Anderson, Bernardo Bertolucci, Sir Ben Kingsley, Andrzej Wajda, Wim Wenders and others. With this membership, Kosovo increases the number of members in this prestigious institution to 24.
